DELF DALF
DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) is the certified diploma of French language awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. It tests the French Language proficiency of non-native speakers. This exam is conducted by the International Centre for French Studies on behalf of France's Ministry of Education.
DELF Diploma is widely acknowledged in about 165 countries and valid for a lifetime. The independent certificates for every level are comparable to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). CEFR is a guideline produced by the Council of Europe following 12 years of research. Four language skills are evaluated at each level: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
